LEPROUS Announces North American Tour With MONUMENTS & FIGHT THE FIGHT, New Album Due Out In August

LEPROUS Announces North American Tour With MONUMENTS & FIGHT THE FIGHT, New Album Due Out In August

Leprous is gonna have a pretty busy second half of 2024. Leprous has announced their new record Melodies Of Atonement due out this August, as well as a North American tour with Monuments and Fight The Fight this September. It’s also worth noting right up top that Leprous is calling Melodies Of Atonement their heaviest record in a while, so get stoked!

Melodies of Atonement is the name of our new album and like every band on earth thinks about their new album, we feel like it’s our best one so far! But in this case, it happens to be true…The orchestral elements are gone, which gives more space for each individual band member to shine,” said Leprous.

“It’s straight to the point, and heavier than what we’ve been in a while…It’s a new sound. But it’s still Leprous. We can’t wait for you to hear it!”

On the tour, Leprous offered: “We can’t wait to tour North America again together with our good friends in Monuments and Fight The Fight. It’s been too long and we’re super eager to come back!”

Misery Signals announce farewell tour featuring both vocalists: Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach

Misery Signals announce farewell tour featuring both vocalists: Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach

Canadian metal unit, Misery Signals, has announced a farewell tour scheduled for this Summer featuring both vocalists; Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach.

“The Blood Is Forever Love Is Forever Farewell tour” will kick off in Vancouver, BC on July 12th and is scheduled to end on October 19th in the band’s hometown of Edmonton, AB.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 3rd, 10 AM local time.

The band shared the following:

Misery Signals has been a band for 22 years, essentially half of our lives. It’s afforded us the privilege of sharing stages with bands we admire, who have inspired us. We’ve forged lifelong friendships with many we’ve encountered on the road. The responses we’ve received while performing onstage, coupled with the personal sentiments shared with us offstage, have made these 22 years some of the most cherished moments of our collective lives.

We are eternally grateful for all the support this band has received, and we will never take it for granted. It’s time for us to close this chapter of our lives and explore new opportunities individually. We didn’t want to conclude this journey without giving our supporters a proper chance to say goodbye. The “Blood is Forever, Love is Forever Farewell Tour” will signify the end of Misery Signals.

A Farewell Tour wouldn’t feel complete without our brother, Karl Schubach. These final shows will feature career-spanning sets with both Jesse Zaraska and Karl Schubach performing songs from their respective Misery Signals albums. We’re eagerly anticipating seeing you all one last time.

DAN LILKER To Rejoin ANTHRAX For Upcoming Shows

DAN LILKER To Rejoin ANTHRAX For Upcoming Shows

Anthrax bassist Frank Bello will sit out the band’s upcoming South American tour dates, as well as two U.S. festival shows in May, due to personal reasons. Filling in for Bello will be founding Anthrax bassist Dan Lilker, who originally split (got fired) with the group way back in 1984.

“I’m really looking forward to jamming with Anthrax again,” said Lilker. “When we parted ways back in 1984, they told me to stick around because they might need me in 40 years.”

Anthrax added: “We’re all very excited about with playing with Danny again, and we really appreciate his filling in for Frank. It’s been way too long since we played South America, so you don’t want to miss these shows, they’re going to be insane.”

Bello also issued a statement: “Hey Everybody, I wanted to let all my friends know that I’m sorry that I won’t be coming to play the upcoming Anthrax dates in Mexico, South America, or the couple of U.S. festival dates in May. Everything’s OK, but for personal reasons, I won’t be able to make those shows. I want to thank my friend Danny Lilker for stepping in for me- he’s gonna rock it! Enjoy the shows , I’m sure they will be great , and I’ll look forward to seeing you all soon!!”

FOZZY Announces 25th Anniversary US Tour

FOZZY Announces 25th Anniversary US Tour

Fozzy – the band led by vocalist and former professional wrestler Chris Jericho – will hit the road this October for a 25th anniversary tour. And I know you’re asking yourselves “has Fozzy really been around for 25 years?” Yup! They started in 1999 as Fozzy Osbourne, shortened their name to Fozzy in 2000, and released their debut album.

“It’s hard to believe that a band that was once accused of being a ‘wrestler’s vanity project,’ has now amassed six Top 10 Mainstream Rock Radio hits, released eight albums, toured the world in over 20 countries, and earned a GOLD RECORD… but we have and we’ve been doing it for 25 YEARS,” said Jericho.

“Not many bands can say that, and out of the ones that can, not many of those can say they are currently at their creative, artistic, and commercial peaks. Yet Fozzy can and we are damn proud of it! That’s why we are so excited to bring our 25th anniversary celebration to your city over the next 18 months, starting in October. We have built a reputation of being a band you don’t wanna miss, and we take great pride in that because it’s the truth!”

The Dillinger Escape Plan reunion will include touring rhythm guitarist James Love

The Dillinger Escape Plan reunion will include touring rhythm guitarist James Love

The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s highly anticipated reunion is crossing the pond, as they’re set to hit the stage on August 6th at the Lokerse Feesten in Lokeren, BE.

Joining the ranks for the Calculating Infinity run is guitarist James Love, a familiar face who has both toured and recorded with the band throughout the years. Love will be taking on rhythm guitar duties alongside original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, who is making his return to the fold, along with bassist Liam Wilson and drummer Billy Rymer, who will be reprising their regular roles.

Ben Weinman shared the following post:

Hey Belgium, so the other day, my friend @ra_diaz who now plays bass in Korn, says to me, “I’m super pumped. You are playing with us at Lokerse Feesten.” I was like, “that is news to me, man. Are you sure about that?” Then he sent me a screenshot that showed us playing right before Korn. Long story short, see you in Belgium, guys. Let’s party! ‍♂️

Oh, and maybe now is a good time to announce that the one and only James Love, who shared the stage with us for many years after Brian left the field, will be joining us once again. We actually knew this all along but wanted to keep some mystery in our relationship with you all. You know, keep things hot!
