Blackbraid Announce North American Tour with Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit

Looks like North America’s about to get a proper dose of indigenous black metal magic! BLACKBRAID (who basically sound like a blizzard in a pine forest) just announced they’re hitting the road this fall. Pro tip: You might want to start practicing your best “I’m-very-serious-about-atmospheric-black-metal” face now.

Mark your calendars for September 18 to October 11 as they storm through 19 cities. The real winners here? Dallas and Atlanta – you’re getting black metal in the Bible Belt, which is basically like serving ice cream in hell. Cool points to the Brooklyn show for happening at “The Meadow” – we’re guessing that’s code for “concrete parking lot with great reverb.”

SPECIAL GUESTS ALERT

  • 🔥 LAMP OF MURMUUR (mysterious enough to make a ninja look like a social media influencer)
  • ⚔️ DÖDSRIT (Swedish for “death rite” – because “Bob’s BBQ” was already taken)
  • 🍁 Canadian dates get GUDSFORLADT (roughly translates to “Godforsaken” – perfect for post-Tim Hortons existential crises)

Tickets go live this Friday at 10AM local time. Set your alarms unless you want to be stuck watching black metal covers on YouTube at 2AM again.
