Fun fact: CANNIBAL CORPSE’s 2023 album “Chaos Horrific” is so brutal, it probably comes with a parental advisory for your eardrums. They’ve been melting faces since ’88, and their album covers (courtesy of artist Vince Locke) are so graphic, they’ve been banned in multiple countries. Classy.
Guitarist Rob Barrett once said their songwriting is like a “chaos smoothie” of riffs—no pre-planned recipe, just whatever sounds like a demonic blender. Meanwhile, Erik Rutan (producer/guitarist) built custom guitars for this tour because regular ones couldn’t handle the band’s apocalyptic tuning. Overkill? Nah, just Tuesday.
