Budapest’s gift to American rock DOROTHY (real name Dorothy Martin, but you can call her the Hungarian hurricane) is hitting the road with EDDIE AND THE GETAWAY for a cathartic revenge tour. Fun fact: Despite her European roots, this woman channels more Southern rock grit than a moonshine still at a biker rally.

Speaking of drama – remember that “Tombstone Town” video where DOROTHY teamed up with SLASH? Plot twist alert: It’s basically a spaghetti western where the GUNS N’ ROSES legend shows up looking like Clint Eastwood’s cooler cousin who owns a Marshall stack. Fun fact: Slash’s hat alone should get its own royalty check.
DOROTHY on the collab: “I’m so honored to have Slash join me on ‘Tombstone Town’. The song is an excerpt from my diary — born out of betrayal and heartache. The music video has a plot twist at the end, but ultimately, I wanted to send a message of forgiveness and resilience, rather than revenge. Writing this song was therapy for me.”
Slash, ever the poet: “‘Tombstone Town’ is a sexy rock ‘n’ roll grind, featuring Dorothy‘s inimitable swagger and a killer guitar hook.”
Meanwhile, her album “The Way” (dropped March 14 via ROC NATION) is basically a masterclass in “how to make 00s rock radio programmers cry happy tears.” Fun fact trivia: She cowrote it with Scott Stevens – the guy who helped HALESTORM and SHINEDOWN become your gym playlist staples.
DOROTHY hypes it like: “This album is a love letter to the fans. I’m letting them know everything is going to be okay, and we’ll help each other find the way — even if we get lost at times.” Translation: Bring earplugs and your emotional support leather jacket.
PSA: This woman’s got more streams than the Mississippi River (1 billion+) and once sang with CREED‘s Scott Stapp AT THE GRAND OLE OPRY. Let that alt-rock/country crossover chaos sink in.
