Fire in the Mountains 2026 Announces Major Lineup Additions, Including SubRosa Reunion, Full of Hell Exclusive Set, and Raven Chacon with Iggor Cavalera

Fire in the Mountains has unveiled the third wave of artists for its 2026 edition — and it’s a big one.

The immersive heavy music and cultural gathering will return July 23–26, 2026 to Red Eagle Campground in East Glacier, Montana, once again transforming the edge of Glacier National Park into one of the most unique festival environments on the planet. With the newly announced additions, the 2026 lineup continues to shape into something truly singular — both musically and culturally.

Newly Announced Artists

The latest lineup update includes:

  • SubRosa — performing a long-awaited reunion set

  • Full of Hell — delivering a 2026-exclusive performance presented by Firekeeper Alliance

  • Raven Chacon & Iggor Cavalera — a special collaborative performance between the Diné composer and the legendary drummer

  • Old Man Gloom

  • Yaotl Mictlan

  • Savage Oath

  • El Welk

As with previous editions, Fire in the Mountains emphasizes performances that are either exclusive, rare, or deeply site-specific — meant to be experienced within the natural and cultural context of the festival’s location.

“The entire program is curated with intention and features performances that can only be experienced in the landscapes of Red Eagle Campground against the majesty of the mountains.”

More Than a Festival

Fire in the Mountains is not a typical heavy music festival — and it never has been.

It is an alcohol-free, immersive, open-air cultural event that brings together heavy music, Indigenous culture, art, education, and the natural world. Set near Glacier National Park in a place the Blackfeet call “The Backbone of the World,” the festival is designed to foster connection: to land, to community, and to oneself.

Crucially, FITM is also dedicated to addressing one of the most urgent and painful realities facing Indigenous communities — suicide in Indian Country. The festival works to raise awareness while actively supporting suicide prevention initiatives, positioning itself not just as an event, but as a platform for advocacy, healing, and collective responsibility.

This combination of purpose, place, and programming has earned Fire in the Mountains an international reputation as one of the most meaningful and forward-thinking heavy music festivals in the world.
