The band’s tour announcement reads exactly like a B-movie trailer: “Once again we set out across the ocean to the shores of your pathetic, crumbling nation to rob your tombs, kill your children, and sell lots and lots of merch…” Priorities, right? At least they’re honest about the merch table grind.
Joining the chaos are openers NO/MAS (grindcore activists who’ve probably smeared peanut butter on a cop car) and SPITER (their name sounds like a rejected Batman villain, but in a good way). Philly gets bonus points – Brazilian death metal squad CRYPTA crashes the final show. [Fun fact: Crypta’s bassist Fernanda Lira once crowd-surfed in a giant inflatable duck. Legend.]
