Modern blues-rock overlord Joe Bonamassa will once again spend his summer exactly where he belongs: on America’s outdoor stages, shredding through sunsets while wearing sunglasses you definitely cannot afford. The 2026 run kicks off June 26 at Bethel Woods in New York and wraps August 23 at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre — with select dates co-headlined by Gov’t Mule, a band that turns “extended jam” into a competitive Olympic sport.
Bonamassa, armed with more Grammys nominations than most blues musicians have guitars (and that’s saying something), will be touring behind new material, fan favorites, and whatever vintage Les Paul he feels like flexing that night. His resume still reads like a blues historian’s fever dream: five Grammy nods, 29 No. 1 Billboard Blues albums, and a fanbase that treats each show like a spiritual pilgrimage with better merchandise.
Pre-sale: Tuesday, Dec 9 at 10 AM local
General on-sale: Friday, Dec 12 at 10 AM local (some dates coming early 2026)
The tour extends a nonstop run that’s taken him across the U.S. and Europe all year — including a farewell stretch with longtime keys wizard Reese Wynans, who is stepping back from heavy touring. After an early-2026 arena run and a massive European tour (including two nights at Royal Albert Hall because of course), Bonamassa will also drop his huge B.B. King tribute project, “Blues Summit 100”, landing Feb 6, 2026. As if releasing a 32-track centennial epic wasn’t enough, his latest LP “Breakthrough” also picked up a fresh Grammy nomination.
Busy year? Yes. Surprising? Absolutely not.
