California hardcore legends Justice League are set to reunite for the first time in over three decades, marking their return to the stage with three exclusive shows later this month. These gigs will be the band’s first public performances since 1988.
Originally formed in Pomona, CA in 1983, Justice League helped lay the groundwork for the West Coast hardcore scene with their straight edge ethos and high-energy shows. Members Ryan Hoffman and Chris Bratton would later co-found Chain of Strength, carrying that legacy forward into the next wave of hardcore.
The reunion is centered around a memorial benefit show honoring Big Frank Harrison, a longtime staple of the SoCal punk and hardcore community. Alongside the tribute, the band will also perform two additional sets surrounding that event.
