KAYO DOT Announce First Full North American Tour Since 2017

Experimental metal shapeshifters Kayo Dot are once again leaving their underground laboratories and heading into the wild — embarking on their first full North American tour since 2017. That’s right: eight long years of silence, confusion, and scattered whispers about what universe they actually exist in are finally over.

This winter, the band will bring their ever-evolving sonic madness to venues across the U.S. and Canada, playing rooms that range from intimate nightclubs to what could easily double as secret cult gatherings. The tour also features select dates with the one and only Xasthur, whose inclusion guarantees at least a few audience members will leave believing the apocalypse has already started.

Expect each show to be part concert, part ritual, part fever dream — because describing a Kayo Dot performance as “music” is like calling the ocean “a bit damp.”

Full dates below. Bring your most existential thoughts, your black turtleneck, and maybe a notebook to pretend you understand what’s happening.
