Earlier today, MALEVOLENT CREATION posted a heartbreaking update from Montpellier, France, where the band is currently on tour. In an official statement shared via social media, they revealed that founding guitarist Phil Fasciana has been hospitalized and is in critical condition due to a severe case of bacterial pneumonia, with concerns it may have affected surrounding organs.

According to the band, Phil’s family has been informed and is currently working with doctors to determine the best course of action. The situation is described as life-threatening, and the band has asked fans around the world to keep Phil in their thoughts and prayers.
Despite the severity of the situation, the band will be continuing the remainder of the tour without Phil, honoring both their commitments and the wishes of his immediate family, who have emphasized that Phil’s recovery must come first.
