Napalm Death Announce Rocks Off NYC Boat Show w/ Primitive Man

Legends of grindcore take sonic devastation to the high seas

Long-running aquatic chaos merchants Rocks Off are celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2026, and they’re kicking things off the only way that makes sense: by putting Napalm Death on a boat.

Yes, really.

On Friday, May 22, 2026, the godfathers of grindcore will board The Liberty Belle and unleash three hours of pure sonic punishment while cruising through New York Harbor. Joining them for this floating ritual of heaviness are Denver doom/sludge destroyers Primitive Man, ensuring the harbor water vibrates with existential dread.

🚢 Napalm Death on a Boat (Yes, This Is Real)

Date: Friday, May 22, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Doors / Boarding: 6:00 PM
Departure: 7:00 PM sharp
Venue: The Liberty Belle – Rocks Off Concert Cruise
Location: Pier 36, 299 South Street, New York, NY 10002
Ages: 21+
Tickets: $54.21

This is a three-hour concert cruise that will take fans around the East and Hudson Rivers, cruising past the Statue of Liberty, beneath the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges, and directly into previously unimaginable levels of sound-based devastation. Expect grindcore classics, new material, and the surreal experience of blast beats echoing across the “Greatest City in the World.”

⚠️ Important (Read This Before You Miss the Boat)

  • Boarding starts at 6:00 PM

  • Last call to board is 5 minutes before departure

  • No refunds if you miss the boat (watching Napalm Death sail away without you is apparently “not pretty”)

  • 21+ only — valid ID required

There are bars onboard, food available for purchase, cash and cards accepted, and even an ATM on the boat, in case you grind yourself into a financial decision.

Napalm Death will be touring Europe, the UK, and Japan in early 2026, followed by a couple of U.S. festival dates in May, but this Rocks Off cruise is shaping up to be one of the most unhinged shows of the year.

Grindcore. Doom. A boat.
New York Harbor will never recover.
