With the band lineups and schedules for this year’s event set and made public, ColdWaves has announced that Front Line Assembly, Clock DVA, and Lead into Gold will be embarking on a full U.S. tour – Industrial Nation 2025. Running from September 11 to October 5, the tour will see the trio performing in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Cleveland, Boston, Denver, San Diego, Portland, New York City, and more. Joining on select dates will be fellow rivethead rabble rousers Nitzer Ebb and Mentallo and the Fixer, with all five bands scheduled to perform at this year’s ColdWaves event in Chicago on September 26; also joining for one date in Baltimore on September 23 will be EN ESCH. The tour will see Front Line Assembly performing a set comprised of material from the band’s WaxTrax! Records era, while Lead into Gold will be touring in celebration of the Knife the Ally album, due to be released via Artoffact Records on June 6. Nitzer Ebb will also be touring in 2025 with MINISTRY on The Squirrely Years Tour from April 29 to May 12. A full listing of tour dates and ticket links can be found on the bands’ websites.
ColdWaves XIII will be spanning five nights this year, from September 24-28 – two kick-off events will take place at the Bottom Lounge, followed by the three main stage shows at the Metro, along with the after shows at the neighboring Gman Tavern. Other bands on this year’s bill include I Speak Machine, Void Palace, Clipping., Ghost Cop, She Past Away, ACTORS, Choke Chain, Light Asylum, and more.
