NONPOINT Announces Tour Dates With UPON A BURNING BODY And AUTUMN KINGS

So, NONPOINT’s first leg of the “Painful Statements Tour” blew up like a confetti cannon at a metal show, and now they’re back for round two – the “Painful Statements Tour Part 2”. Why? Because celebrating 20 years of “To The Pain” and 25 years of “Statement” (aka the albums that made your angsty teen years louder) clearly wasn’t enough. Pro tip: these guys formed in 1997, which means their career is old enough to rent a car. Respect.

This time, they’re playing EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. from both albums – full versions or smashed into medleys that’ll make your neck hurt. Fans at Part 1 basically short-circuited from nostalgia overload, which is probably why vocalist Elias Soriano deadpans: “We wanted to give our fans everything… The response during Part 1 blew us away, and we’re just getting started.” Sure, Elias. “Just getting started” after 27 years. Classic.

Tagging along for Part 2 are UPON A BURNING BODY (Texas’s answer to controlled chaos) and AUTUMN KINGS (the new kids who probably still have their high school yearbooks). And for the final four shows, HEARTSICK jumps in – because why not turn the chaos dial to 11?

But wait! NONPOINT’s also hitting Europe this fall with goth-metal legends LACUNA COIL on “The Sleepless Empire” tour. Because nothing says “rock” like Italian symphonic metal meets Florida nu-metal. Oh, and they’re crashing Welcome To Rockville on Wednesday, May 14 for a pre-party, followed by Louder Than Life (Friday, September 19) and Aftershock (Saturday, October 4). Festivals: where crowd-surfing counts as cardio.

For the elite fans (or those with maxed-out credit cards), there’s the “Perfect 10 Experience” VIP package – only 10 spots per show. Translation: you’ll get to awkwardly chat with the band while pretending you’re not freaking out inside. Tickets at www.nonpoint.com, because obviously.
