PRIMER 55 is crawling outta the early 2000s time capsule for their first shows in, like, forever (okay, 10+ years, but who’s counting?). Founding guitarist/vocalist Bobby Burns is dragging along a fresh crew: vocalist Donny “The DRP” Polinske (imagine a hype man crossed with a tornado), bassist Joshua Toomey, and drummer Preston Nash. Get ready to mosh like it’s Y2K all over again.
They’re hitting the road this October to party like it’s 1999 – well, 2000, technically – for the 25th anniversary of their debut “Introduction To Mayhem”. Fun fact: that album dropped the same year “Jurassic Park III” hit theaters. Coincidence? Maybe. Chaos? Definitely.
Bobby Burns drops some drama: “I had to absolutely destroy myself once again for this to be able to happen. Excited about tomorrow(s) and new music.” (We’re choosing to ignore the “destroy myself” part and focus on “new music.” Cool? Cool.)
Preston Nash chimes in, all philosophical: “The time felt right to bring this music to the stage again… to celebrate what Bobby and J-Sin created.” Meanwhile, Joshua Toomey gets real: “After almost losing Bobby with his health concerns… this is a celebration… and selfishly will be a great excuse to get in a room again with friends.” (Honesty level: 100.)
Donny “The DRP”, the human energy drink, vows: “I will NOT be trying to take over J-Sin’s throne… Energy times a million! If you come out, I’ll do a shot of whisky with ya! RUCKUS!” (Note to self: bring earplugs and a flask.)

PRIMER 55 trivia time! Formed in 1997 in Memphis (same year SLIPKNOT debuted their nightmare-fuel masks), they toured with legends like SLIPKNOT, STAIND, and even OZZY OSBOURNE on Ozzfest. Sold 200k albums – that’s like 20,000 copies in each state they’re touring. Math!
