Alright y’all, get ready to dodge some metaphorical (or maybe literal) spitballs, because SALIVA is dragging their rock circus back on tour this fall. They’re bringing along EARSHOT (who you probably forgot existed until this moment), THE FOUNDER (featuring Austin John Winkler, the guy who made *that* Hinder song kinda cool), and LYLVC (which is pronounced “lyrical,” but we’re all gonna say “L-Y-L-V-C” anyway). The chaos kicks off August 31 in Tower, Minnesota – a place so small it’s basically just a water tower and a diner. Pro tip: the Spotify pre-sale starts August 5 at 10 a.m., but if you wait until the general sale on August 6, you’ll risk sitting next to a dude who still yells “PLAY ‘CLICK CLICK BOOM’” during ballads.
“I’m pumped to hit the road this fall with such a great lineup: SALIVA with EARSHOT, THE FOUNDER featuring Austin John Winkler, and LYLVC. I’m a fan of all of these acts,” SALIVA vocalist Bobby Amaru shares, and continues: “I discovered EARSHOT back in the early 2000s and always thought they had a killer sound. Austin’s voice is one of the most unique in rock, and I’ve been a fan since his days of fronting HINDER. I really like his new project! LYLVC is the perfect opener. I feel Alyse brings fire, focus, and passion to the stage. I dig touring with artists who are hungry and all about the music. No egos, just a shared love for the grind and the show. This fall, it’s all about raw energy and rock ’n’ roll.”

Fun fact: SALIVA’s debut album “Every Six Seconds” went double platinum in 2001. That’s approximately one “Click Click Boom” meme per millennial’s Myspace page. They also snagged a Grammy nod for “Your Disease” – the song that made angsty teens everywhere feel ✨deep✨. Original singer Josey Scott bounced in 2011, but Bobby Amaru showed up like, “I got this,” and somehow made nu-metal dad-rock a thing. Now they’ve got a new deluxe album, “Revelation: Retold”, featuring Kevin Martin of CANDLEBOX (aka the band your mom still hums in the grocery store). Shoutout to guitarist Wayne Swinny, who passed in 2023 – the band still tributes him at every show. RIP to a legend who probably owns 37 black bandanas in the afterlife.
SALIVA is now Bobby Amaru (vocals), Brad Stewart (bass), Josh Kulack (guitar), Sebastian LaBar (guitar), and Sammi Jo Bishop (drums). Their Spotify streams? Over a billion. That’s enough “Always” plays to make a ’00s Hot Topic cashier spontaneously reappear.
