STAIND have announced the Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour, marking a quarter-century since the release of the album that defined their legacy and helped shape modern rock. The extensive North American run will feature SEETHER as direct support, with HOOBASTANK and HINDER joining as special guests on select dates.
Originally released in 2001, Break The Cycle became a career-defining moment for STAIND, earning five-times-platinum certification from the RIAA and spawning the band’s biggest hit, “It’s Been Awhile.” The single spent 20 weeks at No. 1 on modern rock radio and cracked the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100. Additional fan favorites including “Fade,” “For You,” “So Far Away,” and “Right Here” further cemented the album’s impact.
STAIND founding member Aaron Lewis shared:
“Twenty-five years later, to be touring and celebrating this album with fans near and far is something really special. I’m looking forward to getting out there with these bands — it feels like one big family reunion.”Guitarist Mike Mushok added:
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years. Those days remain some of the highlights of my career, and I feel incredibly fortunate to still be doing this. We can’t wait to celebrate a truly defining album with our friends and fans.”
Tickets will be available beginning with artist and Citi presales starting Wednesday, February 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The general on-sale begins Friday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
