TENNESSEE METAL DEVASTATION MUSIC FEST Announces 5th Anniversary Date And Artwork

TENNESSEE METAL DEVASTATION MUSIC FEST is officially back and louder than ever. The festival will celebrate its 5th anniversary on October 10, 2026, marking half a decade of pure underground chaos in Jackson, Tennessee.

To honor the milestone, the fest has unveiled its new official artwork, “Portal Priestess,” created by STEALTHFANGS — a fitting visual for what promises to be the heaviest year yet.

Launched in 2022 by founders Zach Moonshine and Raven Moonla, the festival has carved out a brutal home for extreme metal in the Bible Belt, pushing through backlash, controversy, and raised eyebrows to build a fiercely dedicated community.

That journey is now immortalized in the acclaimed documentary Death Reigns, directed by Randall Kendrick, which has earned multiple festival awards and is streaming worldwide on Thunderflix.

Five years in, the mission hasn’t changed: crushing riffs, killer BBQ, and zero compromise.

Lineup announcements are coming soon — and if history tells us anything, this one’s going to hit hard.
