Here’s the gist, straight from the shredders themselves: “To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Clients album, we are excited to announce live performances! We will reunite with friends, THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY & powerhouse, VOMIT FORTH for northeast club shows in Brooklyn & Boston. We wish this could be a whole tour! Tickets will be on sale this Friday. Our last hometown show went quick so consider grabbing tickets early.
“We’re also returning to the northwest for a one-off alongside ENTERPRISE EARTH, I DECLARE WAR, NIGHTMARER and a stacked Nova Void fest. On sale today! We are working on one more special show before closing the chapter on this anniversary.”
Fun fact: THE RED CHORD formed in 1999, back when “deathcore” sounded like a medical condition. They basically taught a masterclass in how to melt faces with math-y riffs and breakdowns that hit like a dumpster fire. Frontman Guy Kozowyk (aka The Human Tornado) once stage-dove into a crowd of three people – and still made it look cool. Guitar wizard Mike “Gunface” McKenzie, meanwhile, moonlights as a zombie in low-budget horror flicks (true story).
