TODAY IS THE DAY To Play North American Summer Tour With BUÑUEL And MURDEROUS AGAIN

The visionary metal masters TODAY IS THE DAY are almost done with their new album, and to get you hyped, they’re hitting the road with some killer live shows. And trust us, you won’t want to miss this.

First up, TODAY IS THE DAY is joining the likes of CONVERGE, CAVE IN, DEADGUY, DEFEATER, SHUTDOWN, and ENSIGN on June 14 in Brooklyn for a tribute to 1000 Knives promoter Rich Hall, who sadly passed away in January. It’s gonna be a wild ride.

The following week, TODAY IS THE DAY kicks off a nearly month-long North American tour with BUÑUEL (yes, those guys are named after the surrealist filmmaker Luis Buñuel – how cool is that?) and MURDEROUS AGAIN (featuring the legendary Lydia Lunch, among others). The tour runs from June 24 to July 18, with TODAY IS THE DAY headlining the shows. Steve Austin, the band’s frontman, is stoked: “It feels so good looking forward to this Summer’s tour with BUÑUEL and our headlining shows coming up. The new TODAY IS THE DAY album is being completed and will come out late this Summer. I’m excited to hit the road and hang with all my friends and fans during this tour. Now more than ever, the rock is on and is set to go down! Let’s get it on!”

Check out the confirmed tour dates below, and get ready to rage. Oh, and the new album is almost here, so stay tuned for more updates on TODAY IS THE DAY.
