Bad news first: Toxic Holocaust have officially pulled out of the upcoming Death Angel “Act III” U.S. Tour after frontman Joel Grind broke his hand in an accident at home.
“Sadly that means I will not be healed in time for the tour,” Joel shared in a post, assuring fans that once he’s recovered, the band will shift focus to new 2026 plans — including that long-awaited new Toxic record.
But here’s the good news — Bay Area thrash legends Vio-lence are stepping in to fill the slot.
Death Angel wrote:
“We’d like to thank our friends and Bay Area Thrash brothers Vio-lence for stepping up on such short notice and more than filling in that gap! This will be the first time that Death Angel and Vio-lence have ever toured together!”
The Act III 35th Anniversary Tour kicks off November 26th in Denver, CO, with support from Vio-lence, Lions at the Gate, and Misfire — wrapping up December 19th at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
