Polish death metal legends VADER have run into some last-minute travel issues. Due to visa delays at the US Embassy in Poland, the band has been forced to cancel the first three shows of their upcoming Carnival of Death tour.
That means the planned stops in Bensalem (PA), Greensboro (NC), and Atlanta (GA) will no longer take place. The visas have already been approved, but the band and crew are still waiting to get their passports back — a process that will take a few more days.
VADER apologized to fans in the affected cities, promising to make it up on a future run.
The Carnival of Death tour will now officially kick off in Tampa, Florida on October 4th, with the band ready to raise the death metal banner high across North America.
All tickets for the canceled shows will be automatically refunded.
Fans elsewhere: sharpen your horns, VADER is still coming for you.
