Rock on! KURT DEIMER is kicking off an epic North American tour supporting BUCKCHERRY and STEEL PANTHER, and to get you stoked, he’s dropped a new single, “Sunset Boulevard.” This rising rock star, who’s also an actor, songwriter, and film producer (talk about a Renaissance man!), is teasing his debut album, And So It Begins…, out May 9.

“Sunset Boulevard” is a total ’80s Sunset Strip vibe, capturing the essence of the rock ‘n’ roll scene that inspired DEIMER growing up. You can stream/download the single here. By the way, DEIMER’s album is produced by the legendary CHRIS LORD-ALGE (GREEN DAY, BREAKING BENJAMIN) and co-written with PHIL X (BON JOVI), so you know it’s going to be good!
DEIMER shared the story behind “Sunset Boulevard,” saying, “When deciding to get back into music at this time in my life, I’ve spent these last several years on and around Sunset Blvd… I said to myself, ‘someday I am going to play here’ and sure enough, I did.” He’s performed at iconic venues like The Whisky A Go-Go and The Viper Room, and now he’s sharing his experiences with us through his music.
And So It Begins… is a 17-track versatile collection that covers a range of styles, from AC/DC to R.E.M. to Widespread Panic (nice!). The album features DEIMER’s recent singles “Big Toe” and “Live Or Die,” as well as a guest appearance from QUEENSRŸCHE legend GEOFF TATE. You can pre-save the album on DSPs here.
