In what the internet is already calling “The Goth Pop Multiverse Tour”, EVANESCENCE have revealed their 2026 world domination plans: a full-scale trek across North America and Europe with SPIRITBOX, Poppy, K. Flay and NOVA TWINS.
But insiders whisper there’s a secret mission behind the tour — and no, it’s not just cash, catharsis, or the joy of playing the one Evanescence song your cousin knows at karaoke.
No, this time Amy Lee is determined to accomplish something far more legendary:
to prove to concertgoers — once and for all — that she, Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy are, in fact, three different human beings.
For years, fans (and at least one confused festival photographer) have been mixing them up like some chaotic goth-girl Pokémon evolution chain. Amy Lee, evidently tired of being tagged in SPIRITBOX TikToks at 3 a.m., has decided to settle the matter live, in front of thousands.
“I got all my ladies in,” Amy told Rolling Stone, allegedly while drawing a giant Venn diagram labeled “NOT THE SAME PERSON.” “We challenge each other. We inspire each other. Mostly, we just want the internet to stop merging us into one giant pastel-eyeshadow banshee.”
Sources say the opening acts were picked with extreme scientific precision:
SPIRITBOX: for the “blue-haired scream wizard” demographic
Poppy: for the “robotic eldritch pop entity” confusion cluster
K. Flay: the wildcard, included to ensure at least one person on stage looks like they might own a clean hoodie
NOVA TWINS: to demonstrate what happens when women in rock have bass tones hotter than the sun
The strategy is simple: put all the mistaken identities on the same stage and let the audience visually calibrate like they’re adjusting contrast on a TV.
Amy is particularly excited about playing End of You live with Courtney and Poppy, describing it as:
“the ultimate moment when people can finally say, ‘Aha! There are three of them!’”
Meanwhile, EVANESCENCE bassist Emma Anzai has reportedly been training for the tour by chasing NOVA TWINS’ bassist Georgia South around festival grounds with a notebook and a magnifying glass, shouting things like, “Teach me your sorcery!”
The tour runs June through October, ending at Red Rocks, where rumor has it the final show will include a ceremonial moment: all three singers will stand under a giant neon sign that reads WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON while playing harmonies so perfect that fans will immediately forget and confuse them again by morning.
Tickets go on sale soon.
