Cannibal Corpse have confirmed that Brandon Ellis (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder) will be handling guitar duties for their upcoming fall tour in place of Rob Barrett.
The band issued a brief statement:
Rob Barrett will not be on this tour, Brandon Ellis will be filling in. See you all on the road.
Ellis shared the following brief message:
I will be playing guitar with Cannibal Corpse this fall, standing in for Rob Barrett. I’m honored to help out and put on a killer death metal show for you all. See you there!
No explanation was given, though Barrett was the subject of unverified allegations that circulated online over the summer.
The trek will feature Municipal Waste, Full Of Hell, and Fulci as support.
