Punches and Breakdowns Collide: Alex Terrible Launches Bare-Knuckle Fight Event to Kick Off Welcome to Rockville

For years, heavy music and combat sports have shared the same spirit: intensity, aggression, and crowds that thrive on adrenaline. Now Alex Terrible, the imposing frontman of SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, is turning that natural crossover into a full-scale spectacle.

The deathcore vocalist has announced Blood4Blood, a hybrid event combining bare-knuckle fights and live metal performances. The inaugural edition will take place on May 6, 2026, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, and will serve as the official kickoff event for WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE — widely considered one of the biggest rock and metal festivals in the United States. The festival itself runs from May 7 through May 10 at Daytona International Speedway, drawing tens of thousands of fans every year.

The concept behind Blood4Blood is straightforward but ambitious: four fights and four bands, alternating between brutal bare-knuckle action and crushing live music.

Terrible will stand right at the center of it all. The singer is scheduled to step into the ring for the evening’s main fight, where he will face middleweight fighter and professional bull rider Cameron “The Bull” Delano. But that’s only half the story. Later that same night, Terrible will also take the stage with SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, who are set to headline the musical portion of the event.

The lineup for the night also includes BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CROWBAR, and MALEVOLENCE, with three additional fights still expected to be announced.

The event is being organized in collaboration with Danny Wimmer Presents and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, bringing together one of North America’s biggest rock festival promoters and the world’s leading bare-knuckle fighting organization. Together, they’re attempting to fuse two high-energy cultures into one arena-level event.

For Terrible, Blood4Blood is meant to represent the two passions that have shaped his life.

“Fighting and heavy music have always been my world, my passion, my lifestyle,” he said when announcing the event. “We have four real fights and four powerful bands. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CROWBAR, MALEVOLENCE and SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL. I will step into the ring and on the stage. I give everything. This is my heart. This is Blood4Blood.”

Metal and combat sports have long overlapped — fighters frequently walk out to metal tracks, and festivals often attract athletes from the fight world. But Blood4Blood takes the connection further, deliberately merging the two experiences into one event where mosh pits and knockouts share the same spotlight.

And if Terrible manages to pull it off, fans at Rockville’s opening night may witness something unusual even by metal standards: a frontman who steps into the ring for a bare-knuckle fight… and then later grabs the microphone to headline the same night.
