TORCHE, OATHBREAKER, CONJURER, And More Join Toronto’s Prepare The Ground 2026

Toronto’s heavy music and arts festival Prepare The Ground has revealed the second wave of artists for its 2026 edition — and it’s a massive one.

The festival will return for its third installment from May 29th to 31st, 2026, taking over multiple venues across Toronto’s Annex District for a full weekend of crushing riffs, atmospheric sets, and immersive art.

The latest additions include Torche, Oathbreaker (performing their landmark Rheia in full), Blood Ceremony, Conjurer, Dear Evangeline, Hell, Stygian Bough, Tómarúm, UGGHHH, and Wiegedood.

They join a stacked lineup already featuring Amenra (heavy and acoustic sets), …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead (performing The Secret of Elena’s Tomb and Source Tags & Codes), Pallbearer (Foundations of Burden in full), Svalbard (in their first and final North American appearance), Oranssi Pazuzu, Minsk, Malevich, The Keening, Habak, Unholy Altar, and Wrekmeister Harmonies, who will be performing a live score to their original film Flowers in the Spring.

More artists will be announced soon, but the 2026 edition is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and diverse gatherings of heavy music in North America.
