BLACK CROSS HOTEL Hit the Road for ‘Songs for Switches’ Release

Chicago’s own Black Cross Hotel — the industrial-metal force featuring members of The Atlas Moth and Stabbing Westward — are hitting the road in support of their upcoming album Songs for Switches, out October 31 via Someoddpilot Records.

The band just dropped a new single, “Church Basement,” directed by Chris Eichenseer, giving fans a final taste before the full album’s arrival. A limited blood red swirl vinyl edition is up for pre-order here.

Following the release, Black Cross Hotel will launch a short but fiery Midwest and East Coast run — with support from Blood Lemon on most dates:

Songs for Switches was recorded at Chicago’s Electrical Audio and completed at Hypercube Studio, blending horror aesthetics with classic Wax Trax!-era industrial grit. Expect heavy synths, dark grooves, and cinematic atmosphere throughout tracks like “Eyes From Nowhere,” “The House God Doesn’t Visit,” and “Church Basement.”
