Ex-EXODUS Singer STEVE ‘ZETRO’ SOUZA’s September 2025 Latin American Tour Has Been Canceled

Looks like former EXODUS frontman Steve “Zetro” Souza‘s 10-date Latin American solo tour just got yeeted into the void. The Sept 2025 run – kicking off Sept 4 in San José, Costa Rica and ending Sept 14 in São Paulo, Brazil – got canned by promoters. Guess those “classic jams from EXODUS, TESTAMENT (yep, he fronted their proto-version LEGACY), HATRIOT, and AC/DC‘s Bon Scott era” will have to wait. Pro tip: Bon Scott once drank 17 shots before a show and still nailed “Highway to Hell”. Metal.

During his Zetro’s Toxic Vault YouTube therapy session with co-host Walter Morgan, Zetro dropped the tea: “Remember when I said I’d believe this tour when it happened? SURPRISE – it’s not happening! Not my fault though – promoters ghosted harder than a Tinder date.” To South American fans: “I’ll find someone competent to book this tour next year. Pinky promise!”

BUT HEY – Florida gets first dibs on Zetro’s “greatest deep cuts” tour. Catch him at Piper’s in Fort Lauderdale (Sept 27) and Tampa’s Brass Mug (Sept 28). Aussies get three shows in Feb 2026. Fun fact: EXODUS once played a show where the mosh pit literally broke the stage. Priorities.

The setlist? 17 tunes spanning his career – NO Bonded By Blood tracks, NO Rob Dukes-era EXODUS, and ZERO TENET songs (though that 2009 collab with drum god Gene Hoglan still slaps). Zetro’s digging up rarities like a metal archaeologist: “You’ll hear LEGACY demos and songs EXODUS hasn’t played since mullets were cool.”

Backing band lineup reads like a metal RPG party:

* Zakk Frye (SLIKK WIKKED) – Rythm Guitar/Backup Screams

* Kyle Smith (SLIKK WIKKED) – Shred Wizard

* Andrew Dewar (VICIOUS INTENT) – Drum Berserker

* Donny “Death” Weissinger (NASTY TRAST, HATE GRENADE) – Bass Mercenary
