Okay, so after that whole “it’s not you, it’s me” breakup with EXODUS (classic metal drama, amirite?), vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza is back with better news than your uncle’s garage band. Dude just announced his FIRST EVER solo tour, hitting Latin America this fall. Rumor has it he’ll be dusting off classics from his EXODUS days, plus deep cuts from TESTAMENT (fun fact: Chuck Billy once sold knives door-to-door before shredding vocals) and HATRIOT (his own family band – nepotism never screamed so hard).
“Well everyone, this is a go !!!! My first venture as a solo artist. And what a better place to do it, South America! […] See you in September!”
Translation: He’s bringing the thrash equivalent of a “greatest hits” mixtape, plus AC/DC covers because why not? (Side note: If he doesn’t do “Highway to Hell” in corpse paint, we riot.) Tickets are up for grabs here – tell your neck brace to be on standby.
