Fulci Return to North America for Their ‘Duck Face Killings Tour’ Next Week

Alright, metalheads, brace yourselves – Italian death metal maniacs FULCI are invading North America next week for their gloriously named ‘Duck Face Killings Tour’ (no, not the Instagram kind). Tagging along? Ohio’s own MUTILATION BARBECUE, because nothing says “family road trip” like a death metal package named after meat and fire.

The carnage kicks off May 10 in Pittsburgh, PA, then zigzags through Chicago (deep-dish pizza break?), Toronto (sorry/not sorry, eh?), and Montreal (poutine pit stop mandatory) before wrapping up May 17 in Brooklyn. Oh, and they’re crashing the Sonic Temple fest in Columbus – because what’s more metal than playing a festival named after a temple of sound?

Now, about that tour name: Yes, it’s their 2024 album title, but it’s also a nod to Lucio Fulci’s wildly NSFW 1982 horror flick The New York Ripper. Fun fact: The late Italian director was nicknamed the “Godfather of Gore,” so really, FULCI’s music is just keeping the family business alive. Expect riffs so gnarly they’d make a zombie blush.

Fresh off the Devastation On The Nation tour with legends like MORBID ANGEL (death metal OGs since your dad was in diapers), SUFFOCATION (masters of making your neck hurt), and UADA (black metal mysterioso crew), FULCI’s clearly ready to headline their own horror show.

Tour dates below – and seriously, grab tickets now. Don’t be that person crying in the parking lot because it’s sold out.

Scorpions Forced to Cancel Third Concert Due to Klaus Meine’s Illness

Man, it’s a total bummer when a band cancels a show – especially when it’s LEGENDARY GERMAN ROCK DINOSAURS SCORPIONS. These guys have now pulled the plug on three South American gigs faster than you can say “Rock You Like a Hurricane.” Their latest casualty? Saturday’s show in Quito, Ecuador. […]
