Maryland noise/grind metal ensemble Full Of Hell have been confirmed as the mystery guest for Converge‘s Saddest Day 2025 festival, which takes place on December 13th at Roadrunner Boston.
Converge, who is hand picking each band on the line up, shared the following:
Probably the most important through line with every band we’ve asked to be a part of Saddest Day is this… they’re all lifers. Not careerists. From the very beginning of Full Of Hell it was glaringly obvious that they were lifers. It was clear they had no interest in commercial success. They have always been focused on one goal… the music. Making a glorious cacophony while always operating ethically. They have always done things the right way and never sacrificed their art for anything. There was never any question in our minds… Full Of Hell was going to be part of Saddest Day no matter what.
Full Of Hell added:
We are playing the first annual Saddest Day in Boston this December and I wanted to say a couple things about how important Converge is to our band. From the earliest years of Full of Hell, we always looked to Converge as a reference point in how to carry yourself as a DIY band, how to maintain your morals and ethics and flatly refuse to ever compromise your art. It’s been a great honor to become friends with them over the years and to call them brothers. When they say “No Heroes”, they mean it, and they don’t need that mantle. However, these guys have been a serious inspiration from the start for us and so many of our peers. Absolutely honored to be a part of this day and to share the stage with so many friends this December. See you there.
