GENE SIMMONS Says He Doesn’t Know If Entire KISS Band Will Appear In Las Vegas: ‘It Ain’t A Concert’

So, Gene Simmons just chatted with Rob Rush on Long Island’s 94.3 The Shark—because of course a guy named Rob Rush hosts a radio show called The Shark. Anyway, the KISS bassist spilled the tea on their upcoming Vegas shindig: “KISS Army Storms Vegas”, a three-day fan frenzy from November 14–16 at the Virgin Hotel. No makeup, no stage theatrics, just the band (sort of) hanging out. Gene’s like, “We’ll show up… maybe? Paul, Tommy, and I’ll be there. Bruce Kulich might crash the party. Oh, and maybe I’ll drag my solo band out for kicks.” Real casual, right?

Hold up—this is the 50th anniversary of the KISS Army, and their first gig since the “End of the Road” tour wrapped in 2023. But don’t expect pyro or floating drum kits. Gene’s all, “It’s just a chill meet-and-greet. Maybe a Q&A. Oh, and we’ll play something… who knows how long?” Classic Simmons vagueness. Also, Sebastian Bach and BLACK ‘N BLUE are tagging along, plus a bunch of tribute bands. But wait—Eric Singer’s status? ¯(ツ)/¯ The announcement conveniently forgot to mention him. Awkward.

Fun fact: KISS once planned a 12-show Vegas residency in 2021… and canceled all of it. Now they’re back, flexing the “loudest fanbase in rock” title. And hey, Bruce Kulich? The guy who didn’t wear makeup in KISS? He’s popping by too. Because why not? Head to kissarmystormsvegas.com for deets. P.S. Gene swears the 2023 MSG show was the last makeup gig ever. Sure, Gene. We’ll believe it when we don’t see it. 🎸

Confirmed Appearances:
– Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, Bruce Kulich, Sebastian Bach, BLACK ‘N BLUE, MR. SPEED, KISS NATION tribute.
