German Post-Punk Legends Pink Turns Blue Announce North American Tour in Support of New Album “Black Swan”

ince forming in 1985, German post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue have refined their sound into something unmistakably their own—elegant in its minimalism, emotive in its delivery, and enduring in its relevance. From their early breakthrough with If Two Worlds Kiss to their newest release, Black Swan, the Berlin-based trio has remained a vital force in the international post-punk community, shaping and reshaping the genre across decades.

Black Swan, the band’s twelfth studio album, is an evocative response to instability—what the band calls a reflection on “unexpected events that derail what we took for granted.” True to form, Pink Turns Blue channel that disquiet into melancholic anthems laced with shimmering guitar lines, propulsive bass, and plaintive vocals. These are not songs of nostalgia but of reckoning—resilient and immediate, echoing the emotional urgency that defined their early work and continues to define them today.

To celebrate the album, Pink Turns Blue are embarking on a major tour, beginning with select dates in Germany before launching their North American run in August 2025.
