Guitarist Max Carrillo Is The Latest Musician To Quit A Killer’s Confession During Their Spring Tour

Drama Alert!

A KILLER’S CONFESSION is down another member, because, why not? Guitarist Max Carrillo has bid adieu to the band, marking the second musician to peace out mid-tour this month. Talk about a band on the brink!

Carrillo spilled the tea on his exit via social media last Friday, April 18th:

“Quitting A Killer’s Confession. Not good human beings. No wonder the drummer and merch guy quit at the same show for being treated super badly. Also found out they’re trying to create a fake scenario about me behind my back. Saying I got drunk on stage and fell off. And then telling me the other drummer wanted to get rid of me to try to turn me against them. When the whole time they talked about replacing the drummer and bassists behind their backs.

And then the singer was ready to fight me today. Fuck that unprofessional bullshit. The abuse and toxicity in that band is unreal. Currently left stranded in Santa Clarita, California. Gonna try to figure out a way to get back to LA. If there’s any California friends that can help please let me know thanks”

Fun Fact: Did you know A Killer’s Confession is fronted by none other than Jason “Jasen Rauch” (aka Reavis), the former Mushroomhead vocalist? Guess that ‘shroom-influenced drama is still lingering…

Carrillo dished out more deets about his departure in the comments of his Facebook post. Let’s just say, it wasn’t a pretty split. Carrillo had only joined the band in March, making his tenure shorter than a Mushroomhead song without a 10-minute intro

This exit follows hot on the heels of drummer Kegan King‘s departure last week. King‘s Facebook posts here suggest it wasn’t exactly a GROUP HUG when he left.

A KILLER’S CONFESSION is currently wrapping up their U.S. tour, with Reavis joined by some familiar faces – former Mushroomhead members!
