GWAR Announce Spring 2026 U.S. Tour With SOULFLY And KING PARROT

Sharpen your ponchos and emotionally prepare your local venues: GWAR are back. The intergalactic lords of shock rock have announced a massive spring 2026 U.S. run dubbed “Gor Gor Strikes Back,” once again unleashing their long-suffering audiences to gallons of fake blood, real volume, and gloriously unnecessary chaos.

Founded in Richmond, Virginia in the late ’80s, GWAR have spent decades turning metal shows into full-scale theatrical war crimes, blending thrash, punk, satire, and an ever-expanding mythology that somehow keeps getting louder. This time, they’re bringing backup in the form of SOULFLY, Max Cavalera’s groove-driven wrecking machine, with Australia’s KING PARROT opening every night to make sure the crowd is already sweating before GWAR even land.

The tour launches March 19 in Richmond, VA, and stomps its way across the country before wrapping up April 29 in Charlotte, NC. According to the band, Gor Gor is involved, which historically means things will be smashed, eaten, or sacrificed.

Blöthar The Berserker sums it up in typical GWAR fashion:

“This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, sex, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!! Let the severed heads rain… Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”

Subtle as ever.
