HEART Announces August 2025 Tour Dates With TODD RUNDGREN

Guess who’s hitting the road again? The queens of rock ‘n’ roll, HEART, are strapping on their guitars (and wheelchairs – more on that later) for a 14-date August tour. Tagging along for the ride? The ever-eccentric TODD RUNDGREN, because who doesn’t want to hear “Bang the Drum All Day” while waiting for “Barracuda”?

The shindig kicks off August 8 in Quincy, Washington, and wraps up August 30 in Bethel, New York. Pro tip: If you’re going to the Rancho Mirage show, maybe practice your golf claps – it’s at a casino. Tickets drop April 24, so set those alarms unless you enjoy paying scalper prices.

# “An Evening With HEART

  • Special guest to be announced (Spoiler: It’s not the Rock Hall ghost crew)

In a recent chat with WIVB-TV, NANCY WILSON gave us the tea on ANN WILSON’s throne-like stage setup: “The show’s been rolling out beautifully. Ann kicked cancer’s ass, then immediately tripped on Nashville ice and broke her elbow. Classic rockstar move. Now we’ve got our photographer CRISS CAIN doing pre-show damage control: ‘No, she’s not dying – she’s just clumsy!’”

She added, “The show’s got everything: power ballads, face-melting riffs, and a ‘fireplace moment’ because nothing says rock ‘n’ roll like acoustic coziness. Oh, and we actually play live. Shocking, right?”

On her podcast “After Dinner Thinks”, ANN clarified: “The wheelchair isn’t cancer-related – I’m just a klutz. Three screws in my elbow! But hey, sitting lets me focus on hitting those high notes without face-planting.”

Fun fact: When HEART released “Dreamboat Annie” in 1975, some critics thought the Wilson sisters were… ahem… more than sisters. Joke’s on them – they just invented lesbian rock iconography by accident.

Meanwhile, TODD RUNDGREN (the man who produced Meat Loaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” while wearing glitter eyeshadow) is probably backstage right now inventing a new genre for this tour. Polka-prog? Synth-barracuda-core?

Mark your calendars: HEART’s “Royal Flush” tour – where the only thing more dramatic than the guitar solos is Ann’s orthopedic journey – runs through April 16 in NYC. Because what’s rock ‘n’ roll without a little chaos?
