Axe-wizards JOHN 5 and RICHIE KOTZEN are hitting the road together for the first time ever this fall. Mark your calendars: their six-string circus kicks off October 16 and shreds through November across the U.S. of A.
Says JOHN 5 (who’s probably got more guitars than most people have socks): “I’ve got a brand-new show and a whole bunch of songs we haven’t played in a long time plus all your favorites. I’m super excited! I love touring with other great guitarists like RICHIE KOTZEN! It’s gonna be a Noodle-Palooza.”
Not to be outdone, KOTZEN fires back: “I am very much looking forward to this USA tour, but what makes this even more exciting than last year’s run of dates is that I’ll be out this time with my good friend JOHN 5! I think this is going to be a great night not only for guitar fanatics but for general music lovers as well. I can’t wait to hit the stage this fall!”
Tour dates below! Tickets go public Friday, May 16, but the fan presale starts TODAY at noon local. Pro tip: snag ’em early unless you wanna be stuck behind the guy air-guitaring “Free Bird” all night. Details at John-5.com.
In other news, JOHN 5’s dropping a new album called “Ghost” on October 10 (produced by BARRY POINTER). Lead single “Fiend” features drum legend KENNY ARONOFF – you know, the guy who’s played with everyone from John Mellencamp to…well, JOHN 5. Music video drops May 16, but here’s a teaser to tide you over:

*JOHN 5 solo show – because even guitar gods need alone time
Fun fact intermission! Did you know JOHN 5 once played for both Marilyn Manson AND Dolly Parton? Talk about range. Dude’s currently rocking with MÖTLEY CRÜE too, because apparently sleep is for mortals.
