MARILLION, STEVE HACKETT, QUEENSRŸCHE, SYMPHONY X, Others Set For 2026 Edition Of ‘Cruise To The Edge’

CRUISE TO THE EDGE 2026 is here to out-prog all previous voyages. A decade of pretending seasickness isn’t a thing while air-drumming to 15-minute solos! Set sail March 4-9, 2026, from Miami, with pit stops in Key West and Nassau. Bring your Dramamine and your best wizard robe.

Headliners? Oh, just MARILLION (the band that taught us crowdfunding before it was cool), STEVE HACKETT (Genesis’ secret weapon), BIG BIG TRAIN (British prog with more layers than a lasagna), and EDDIE JOBSON (Frank Zappa’s keyboard wizard). Plus, a lineup so stacked, even your Spotify algorithm is sweating.

Back for more nautical shenanigans: SYMPHONY X, ADRIAN BELEW (yes, the guy who made guitar solos weird), HAKEN, LIFESIGN (not a typo), THE FLOWER KINGS, PROTOCOL, WISHBONE ASH (still rocking since 1969), AIRBAG (no, not the car part), QUEENSRŸCHE, STICK MEN (it’s a band, not a stock photo), DISTRICT 97, GOBLIN (horror soundtrack legends), KLONE, BARAKA, and MARBIN. Newbies include PETE ROTH TRIO (feat. BILL BRUFORD—yes, that Bruford), CRACK THE SKY, RANDY MCSTINE, CROWN LANDS (Canada’s answer to Rush), EARTHSIDE, RENDEZVOUS POINT, ALEX HENRY FOSTER, and LARI BASILO. Hosted by JON KIRKMAN, ROIE AVIN, and MIKE DAWSON—because every cruise needs a trio of guys named like ’80s action heroes.

Beyond the sunburns and buffet-induced comas, enjoy “activities” like “How Many Times Can You Nod to a 17/8 Time Signature?” seminars, karaoke where someone will attempt “Supper’s Ready,” and the legendary “Wheel of Prog” (spin to win a free tambourine!).

And for the brave: CTTE LATE NIGHT LIVE with ROB RUTZ, where you can witness a cruise-goer’s rendition of “Roundabout” that’ll make Jon Anderson file a restraining order.

This is the “greatest prog-rock show on Earth” because, let’s face it, no one’s building a prog theme park. CTTE LLC—the folks who’ve been herding cats (and prog fans) onto boats for 20 years—promise you’ll survive. Probably.
