Latest single from Astari Nite discourages seeking dishonest approval, continues tour with Rosegarden Funeral Party

Astari Nite has released a new single in which the Miami goth/rock band encourages listeners not to seek the approval of others. “Validation is not love,” says vocalist Mychael, explaining the themes of “Miss Rain On My Parade,” which follows up on the “Unisex Games” single released last month; “This world can be very dishonest if you allow it to be and the longer you continue to dive into someone else’s sea of lies, you’ll always be alone, with your telephone, and all four walls of the room.” Released today, April 11, via Negative Gain Productions, and available now on Bandcamp, “Miss Rain On My Parade” is the second single from Astari Nite following 2024’s Resolution of Happiness album. Currently, the band is in the midst of a U.S. tour supporting Rosegarden Funeral Party, along with Summore and Missing, with dates continuing until May 17; a full list of remaining dates and ticket links can be found on the band’s website.
