Puscifer to Perform Ultra-Intimate LA Shows

LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2025 — In a move that will surely delight diehard fans of alt-experimental rock and confuse a few Tool diehards still waiting for another 13-year epiphany, Puscifer has announced two extremely intimate performances in Los Angeles on August 11, 2025, at Exchange L.A.

The band, led by Maynard James Keenan, will play two back-to-back sets (at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.), offering attendees an exclusive early listen to their upcoming studio album. These aren’t your usual giant arena shows either — this is close-quarters Puscifer, sweat, sarcasm, and all.

Even better? The shows will be filmed for a future release, so if you miss it, you’ll still be able to pretend you were there when it drops in a few months and you post about how “the energy just doesn’t translate like it did in person.”

And just to clarify, yes — this is definitely a Puscifer thing, not a TOOL thing. There is no TOOL album news, please stop refreshing Reddit. However, in a quote we are absolutely making up for entertainment purposes only, Keenan allegedly said:

“We do these Puscifer shows not to work on a new TOOL record. That’s the whole point.”

(Again, that’s a joke. But you knew that. Probably.)

Tickets are on sale now, and given the size of the venue, they’ll probably be gone faster than you can say “synchronistic Jungian introspection.”
