SIX FEET UNDER Announces September/October 2025 Tour With EXHORDER, WRETCHED And INCITE

SIX FEET UNDER are hitting the road like a rusty hearse with fresh shocks. This September, they’re dragging EXHORDER, WRETCHED, and INCITE along for the “Midnight In Hell” tour. Bring your earplugs and a clean pair of adult diapers – it’s gonna get swampy.

No corpses were exhumed for this quote from SIX FEET UNDER’s Chris Barnes: “After a highly successful return to touring, I’m very excited to get back on the road and continue the mayhem this fall! Our friends EXHORDER, WRETCHED and INCITE will be our accomplices this time around. We will be dusting off some classic SIX FEET UNDER material and three songs we’ve never played live, including the fan favorite ‘The Noose’! See you this fall and don’t forget we’ll be at Aftershock festival Sunday, October 5th!” (Fun fact: Barnes is like death metal’s Keith Richards – somehow outliving everyone AND still screaming like a banshee in a woodchipper.)

Here’s where you can catch this lineup of musical war crimes (Oct 5 is your last chance to see Barnes do his “dad tries karate” stage moves with the full band):

Meanwhile, the band’s been cooking up new material that’ll either resurrect the dead or scare your neighbors into moving. They’re recording the follow-up to 2024’s “Killing For Revenge” – because nothing says “aging gracefully” like lyrics about intestinal flaying. Barnes dropped this nugget about drummer Marco Pitruzzella: “Lord Marco completed tracking the drums for the new SFU album last week!” (Marco’s secret? Playing blast beats so fast they bend time.) Guitarist Jack Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE – y’know, that band Barnes hasn’t been in for 30 years) will record at AudioHammer with Jason Suecof, who probably wears sunglasses indoors to hide his tears of joy.

The current SIX FEET UNDER lineup is basically Barnes + the Avengers of Metal: Owen (riff warlock), Ray Suhy (guitar sorcerer), Jeff Hughell (bass ninja), and Pitruzzella (drum cyborg). Barnes calls them “untouchable” – which tracks, because who’d want to touch a band that smells like a haunted slaughterhouse?
