THE WHO Announces Final Concert Of North American Farewell Tour

THE WHO – you know, the band that basically invented smashing guitars before it was a TikTok trend – are wrapping up their North American “The Song Is Over” tour with a big ol’ finale at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Pro tip: If you miss this, you’ll have to time-travel back to Woodstock ‘69 to catch ‘em again. Oh, and punk-pop pranksters THE OFFSPRING (yes, the “Pretty Fly for a White Guy” folks) are crashing the party in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl next Friday, September 19. Guess someone’s still down with the kids, eh?

Tickets for the Palm Springs shindig go up for grabs starting Tuesday, September 16 via Citi presale and THE WHO’s fan club. General sales kick in Wednesday, September 17 at 10 a.m. PT on thewho.com/tour/. If you’re not a Citi cardholder, maybe sweet-talk someone who is? Or just camp out online like the rest of us plebs.

Speaking of Citi, they’re the “official card” of this farewell tour because nothing says rock ‘n’ roll rebellion like corporate sponsorships. Cardmembers can snag presale tickets starting Tuesday, September 16 at 10 a.m. local time until 10 p.m. that night. Check citientertainment.com for the deets. Capitalism, baby!

Want to flex your VIP status? For a small fortune, you can grab packages that include premium tickets, pre-show soundchecks (because who *doesn’t* want to watch Roger Daltrey sip tea before screaming “YEEEEEAAAAAH!”), limited-edition autographed posters, and access to a lounge that’s probably fancier than your apartment. Peek at vipnation.com if you’re feeling fancy-pants.

THE WHO – ya know, just one of the most iconic rock acts ever – boasts more accolades than Pete Townshend has windmill guitar moves: 9 U.S. Top 10 albums, 10 U.K. Top 10s, and enough legendary gigs to make your Spotify Wrapped blush. They’ve played Woodstock, Glastonbury (twice!), the *Super Bowl* halftime show, and even the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony. Not bad for a bunch of lads who started out smashing gear for fun.

Since their 1964 debut with bangers like “My Generation” (the anthem for every eye-rolling teen), they’ve cranked out rock operas (“Tommy”, anyone?), face-melting live albums (“Live At Leeds”), and songs that defined generations (“Baba O’Riley” – aka *that* CSI theme song). Fun fact: Their 2019 album “Who” proved they’re still kicking harder than Keith Moon’s drum kit.

JUST ANNOUNCED: The Who, one of the greatest rock bands of all time is coming to Acrisure Arena on October 1 for the…

Turnstile Took the Mosh Pit to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series

Okay, imagine NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts – the land of cozy vibes and NPR tote bags – suddenly morphing into Warped Tour 2005. Wild, right? They’ve dipped into heavy sounds before with legends like GWAR (whose idea of “office attire” involves alien blood sprays) and ROYAL THUNDER (frontwoman Miny Parsonz […]
