WE CAME AS ROMANS Announce ‘Bad Luck’ 2025 World Tour

Hot off the heels of dropping their face-melter “Bad Luck”, modern metalcore lifers WE CAME AS ROMANS are basically adopting the entire Northern Hemisphere with their 2025 world tour. North America gets first dibs this summer with a spicy lineup: AFTER THE BURIAL (prog-metal wizards who probably dream in odd time signatures), CURRENTS (the band that makes existential crises sound catchy), and JOHNNY BOOTH (NYHC’s angriest therapists). Europe’s turn comes in fall with BRAND OF SACRIFICE – because nothing says “autumn vibes” like deathcore inspired by Berserk manga.

VIP packages via Soundrink and pre-sales start Wednesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Regular folks can grab tickets Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. – mark your calendars or set a dozen phone reminders.

The tour kicks off July 22 in Toronto and wraps August 23 with a hometown rager at Detroit’s Fillmore – which, let’s be real, will probably involve at least one emotional speech about coney dogs. All this chaos celebrates their new single “Bad Luck”, a track so aggressively uplifting it could bench-press a pickup truck.

Frontman Dave Stephens isn’t subtle about the hype: “This tour isn’t just a run of shows — it’s a celebration of what we’ve all built together, and it’s the perfect way to launch our new single, ‘Bad Luck’, into the world. We’ve poured everything into this release, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone from stage to stage.” Translation: Expect pyro.

This global takeover follows their 2025 festival blitz – including Warped Tour (RIP, but resurrected like a phoenix with better sunscreen) and When We Were Young (where millennirs go to cry over $16 water bottles). Clearly, sleep is for mortals.

WE CAME AS ROMANS – Michigan’s loudest export since Robocop – have been genre-hopping since 2005. Their 2013 album “Tracing Back Roots” crashed the Billboard Top 10 (fun fact: it’s still the soundtrack to 50% of Warped Tour veterans’ gym playlists). After the tragic loss of vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, they dropped 2022’s “Darkbloom” – a grief-stricken bangerfest that Kerrang! called “a carrier for a knot of emotion” (translation: it’ll make you cry while headbanging). Tracks like “Black Hole” (featuring Caleb Shomo of Beartooth) racked up 102 million Spotify streams, proving sadness is very streamable.
