But TURNSTILE just flipped the script entirely. Fun fact: Two members were in cult hardcore band TRAIL OF LIES before evolving into TURNSTILE’s genre-smooshing magic.
Their Tiny Desk video dropped today, and honey, it’s chaos in the best way. They peel back their usual wall-of-sound for stripped-down versions of Never Enough tracks like “Dreaming” and “Sunshower” – but let’s be real, we’re all here for the vibe check. The energy in that room? Thicker than NPR intern coffee. By the time they hit “Birds,” it’s pandemonium: fans clustering like moths to a amp light, and frontman Brendan Yates cannonballing off a desk into the first-ever Tiny Desk crowd surf.
