RUSSIAN CIRCLES will head across North America this fall behind their newly announced album Nine, due out Aug. 28 via Sargent House. The run comes in two support-flavored halves: PELICAN on the September/October dates, and PRIMITIVE MAN on the November stretch.
The tour begins Sept. 25 at The Argo in Whitefish Bay, WI, and wraps Nov. 21 at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m. local time, because the machines of autumn touring wait for no one.
The band have also released the video for “Empath,” the first single from Nine. The album was recorded with Kurt Ballou, whose resume includes CONVERGE, MASTODON, and HIGH ON FIRE, which is a pretty clear signal that the amps were not asked to behave indoors.
Nine follows Gnosis and features seven tracks: “Borehole,” “Empath,” “Eluvial,” “E2,” “Meridian,” “Arletta,” and “Seventh Seal.”
