RIVAL SONS have announced The Domestic Bliss Tour, a 24-date U.S. run set for this fall with THE BLUE STONES and THE VELVETEERS joining on most shows.
The tour kicks off Oct. 30 at Knitting Factory in Boise, ID, and wraps Nov. 29 at Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN. The band says the set will pull from across its nine-album catalog, which is one way to make the old-school rock machine stretch its legs a bit.
THE BLUE STONES will appear without THE VELVETEERS on the Cleveland and Worcester dates. Everywhere else, the support bill features both acts, keeping the blues-rock-to-garage-rock pipeline properly humming.
RIVAL SONS have also been back in the studio working on a new album expected next year. Their most recent records, Darkfighter and Lightbringer, arrived in 2023, while vocalist Jay Buchanan released his solo album Weapons Of Beauty earlier this year.
