Wisconsin’s underground metal scene is gearing up for another heavy weekend as MANITOWOC METALFEST 4 has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup.
The two-day event will take place September 11 and 12 at PetSkull Brewing in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This year’s festival will be headlined by technical deathcore outfit BORN OF OSIRIS, with death metal veterans JUNGLE ROT serving as co-headliners alongside a special appearance from Wisconsin thrash legends MORBID SAINT. Friday night will feature MICAWBER as the evening’s headlining act.
The lineup also includes a strong mix of national touring artists and regional favorites, continuing the festival’s tradition of blending established names with rising underground acts.
Among the notable national performers confirmed for the event are COGNITIVE, SUMMONING THE LICH, CONDITION CRITICAL, MORTA SKULD, DUSK, REAPING ASMODEIA, and TANGENT FL.
A large number of local and regional bands will also take part in the festivities, including READ MY SCARS, SQUIDHAMMER, YOTUMA, ERRORS OF HUMANITY, STILL STAYER, DRILLBIT, REFLECTION OF FLESH, THUNDERGOAT, ANCIENT ENTITIES, ALLEYWAY, BRAY ROAD, THE ENMITY OFFENSIVE, SWARM – US, CROVEN, and PARASITE.
Tickets for MANITOWOC METALFEST 4 go on sale Wednesday, March 11 at 12:00 p.m. CST and will be available both at the PetSkull Brewing taproom and online.
The festival will also offer special early-bird pricing during the first 48 hours of ticket sales. From March 11 to March 13, single-day tickets will be available for $20, while two-day passes will cost $30.
After the early sale ends, ticket prices will increase to $25 for single-day admission and $40 for a two-day pass between March 13 and August 11. From August 12 through September 10, tickets will rise again to $35 for single-day entry and $60 for a two-day pass.
For those waiting until the last minute, limited at-the-gate tickets will be available for $40 per day, though two-day passes will not be sold at the door.
With a stacked lineup of extreme metal, thrash, and death metal acts, MANITOWOC METALFEST 4 looks set to deliver another loud and chaotic gathering for Midwest metal fans this fall. 🤘
