COAL CHAMBER And GEMINI SYNDROME Exit LOUDER THAN LIFE 2026 Lineup

In response, the festival has added DEAD POET SOCIETY, NO RESOLVE, and FREEZE THE FALL to the bill.

Neither COAL CHAMBER nor GEMINI SYNDROME have publicly commented on the cancellation at the time of writing. Notably, guitarist Meegs Rascon performs in both bands, leading to speculation that the withdrawals may be connected.

The news arrives just months after COAL CHAMBER returned to the stage for a handful of festival appearances, marking the band’s first live performances since 2024. Those shows also represented the group’s first since drummer Mikey “Bug” Cox privately battled cancer.

LOUDER THAN LIFE returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY, from Sept. 17–20 and will feature headlining performances from IRON MAIDEN, TOOL, LIMP BIZKIT, and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.

With more than 150 artists scheduled across multiple stages, the festival remains one of the largest rock and metal events in North America despite the late lineup changes.
