Rising Nordic act EIHWAR have officially announced their first North American tour, bringing their immersive “Nordic Ritual Nights” experience across the United States this fall.
Since breaking out just a couple of years ago, the fantasy Viking duo have quickly established themselves as a formidable live force. Known for their electrifying performances, EIHWAR have already stormed major European festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, and Midgardsblot, as well as touring alongside The Hu.
The band’s latest album Hugrheim continues to build momentum, combining shamanic drums, hypnotic chants, and powerful electronic elements into what they describe as “Viking War Trance.” Tracks like “Nauðiz,” “Freyja’s Calling,” “Heill Óðinn,” and “Hugrheim” have already made a strong impact online.
With this upcoming run, the duo — Asrunn and Mark — promise a live show that blurs the line between ritual and rave.
“We’re honored to bring the songs of Hugrheim to the United States,” the band said. “On stage, we open a path toward Hugrheim, the hidden tenth world of Yggdrasil, where ritual drums, chants and electronic pulses call the warriors of the North to gather. Expect a night somewhere between a ritual and a slightly unhinged dancefloor.”
Pre-sales begin March 19, with general ticket sales starting March 20.
