From Misfit to… God’s Favorite? MICHALE GRAVES Announces “God Bless America Tour 2026”

Well, here’s a plot twist nobody had on their bingo card: Michale Graves, once best known for howling through horror punk anthems with MISFITS, is stepping into a brand-new chapter—this time with a little more testimony and a little less “Astro Zombies.”

Graves has officially signed with Epochal Artists Records, a label under the TLG umbrella distributed by Virgin Music Group. And yes, the name might’ve sounded like a Christian label before—turns out, it actually is now. Talk about leaning into the rebrand.

To celebrate, Graves will hit the road this spring with the boldly titled “God Bless America Tour 2026”—an intimate run that promises something quite different from his past life in corpse paint and devilock aesthetics.

“These shows will be an intimate, story-driven live experience that blends acoustic music, testimony, and storytelling,” Graves explains. So if you’re expecting a full-on punk riot… you might instead get a sermon between songs. Evolution, right?

TLG president Denny Sanders adds that Epochal Artists Records has been years in the making, joking that even his wife always thought the name sounded like a Christian label—turns out she was just ahead of the curve.

For Graves, the move is more than just a stylistic pivot—it’s a return to roots he says were always there. According to him, the original dream wasn’t just music, but also preaching. The music part worked out first; the preaching part, well… still a work in progress.

Either way, it’s safe to say this is one of the more unexpected career arcs in heavy music—going from Misfit to messenger, one acoustic set at a time.
